Before, Cosmetic Dentistry was a branch of Dentistry that was only dealth with by people who really needed it. Braces, teeth whitening—people had it done not because they wanted to look good, but because they needed it. Nowadays, it’s more of the other way around; you undergo these things because you want to look good.

I visited my dentist recently and this was one the things he was talking about. More and more people have been coming to him, asking him if he could make their teeth as beautiful as their favorite actor’s or actress’ own set of teeth. They even bring a picture of this particular smiling celebrity to make sure he has the correct image in mind. It’s almost like designing your own smile!

The cost of a beautiful set of teeth is usually more than you’ve bargained for. But you’d need to keep in mind that getting that perfect smile (and therefore, boosting your confidence) would cost more than your usual trip to the dentist.
